The challenge
A pulp and paper manufacturer needed real guidance and expertise for its newly adopted PI System. They had been working with another support vendor, but that partner could not match the depth of knowledge in either the PI System or in the Pulp and Paper industry. They also weren’t getting the hands-on support the team was looking for.
What we did
We stepped in as system experts, first by training their team on the PI System. Since then, both the customer and Industrial Insight have developed solutions that operations uses every day. There have also been times that the customer has just asked for Industrial Insight’s opinion on how to make a solution that they built get better. Collaboratively, this company and Industrial Insight have built solutions that rival or beat solutions in just over two years that much larger pulp and paper companies have failed to implement.
The result
The manufacturer significantly improved its knowledge of its own analytical systems, and greatly expanded implementation and adoption across the operation. The PI System went from underused to part of how the plant runs daily.
