About Ben

Ben Still has been with Industrial Insight since February 2018, specializing in the OSIsoft PI platform to enhance customer data utilization. He also leverages Power BI, Tableau, and other tools for quick, easy data value extraction.

Ben holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University. Previously, he worked as a Control System Engineer at Shaw Industries, where he managed various plant-floor systems like Rockwell and Siemens PLCs. He utilized platforms such as Splunk, Ignition, Node-Red, Ni-FI, MQTT, and Python to derive value from IIoT data.

A lifelong tinkerer, Ben enjoys programming microcontrollers and Raspberry Pi’s. You can find him at a coffee shop on weekdays or on the disc golf course most weekends. Passionate about travel, he currently works and explores the country full-time in his Winnebago van.
